3. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

  • Google Firebase: Authentication, Cloud Firestore database, Analytics, Cloud Messaging (push notifications), Crashlytics
  • Firebase Gemini AI: AI-powered travel assistant and recommendations
  • HERE Technologies: Maps, routing, and location search
  • WeatherAPI: Weather forecasts and alerts
  • Google AdMob: Advertisements (Free tier users only)
  • Apple App Store / Google Play: Subscription and payment processing
  • Recreation.gov API: Federal campground information
  • Campflare API: Private campground information

Account Deletion

You can delete your account at any time:

  1. Open the App → Settings → Account → Delete Account

7. Subscriptions

Payment processing for Premium and Premium+ subscriptions is handled entirely by Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not store credit card or payment details.

8. Children's Privacy

SafeStop RV is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. Upon account deletion:

  • Account access is revoked immediately
  • Personal data is deleted within 30 days
  • Encrypted backups are purged within 90 days

10. International Data Transfers

Data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the App or via email.
